Glamorgan batsman Asa Tribe will not join the England Lions squad after virus concerns ruled him out of the upcoming tour. Tribe enjoyed a standout 2026 County Championship season, scoring 940 runs in 14 matches for the Welsh county. The 22-year-old's form had put him in contention for a place in the Lions setup, but health precautions have forced his withdrawal. BBC Sport Wales reported the news on November 1, 2026.
