NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney criticized Josh Berry following a collision at Martinsville Speedway, stating that Berry "lost his mind" during the incident. The confrontation occurred during a recent race at the historic Virginia short track, known for its tight quarters and frequent contact between competitors.
Blaney's comments highlight the ongoing tensions that can arise during close-quarters racing at Martinsville, where the 0.526-mile paperclip-shaped oval often leads to heated exchanges between drivers. Neither driver's team has issued an official statement regarding the incident beyond Blaney's post-race remarks.
