Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson described a frightening eye injury he sustained during training camp, according to a report published Monday.
The incident occurred on July 29, 2026, at the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Indiana, where Richardson was participating in the team's training camp activities.
Details of the injury and Richardson's exact description were not immediately disclosed in the initial report, but the characterization as "terrifying" suggests a significant concern for the young quarterback.
The Colts have not yet released an official update on Richardson's condition or timetable for return.
