The loss marked the Rangers' fourth consecutive setback as they struggled to find offensive rhythm against the Oilers. Edmonton capitalized on their opportunities to secure the victory.
Lou Orlando reported for Forever Blueshirts on the Rangers' continued difficulties following the hiatus.
