The top-ranked Miami Hurricanes (7-0) travel to Chapel Hill on Saturday, Oct. 31, to face the North Carolina Tar Heels in a Week 9 college football matchup at Kenan Stadium. Miami has won 14 of its last 15 games dating back to early November 2025 and leads the nation with a 33.7-point average scoring margin.
Miami's offense features two Heisman Trophy contenders: quarterback Darian Mensah, who leads the FBS in completion percentage (81.4%) with 22 passing touchdowns and 307.3 yards per game, and wide receiver Malachi Toney, who tops the FBS with 66 receptions and has surpassed 900 receiving yards with 10 touchdowns.
North Carolina enters the game after an overtime home loss to Syracuse, where the Tar Heels surrendered a 10-point fourth-quarter lead. Coach Bill Belichick's squad will need a cleaner effort to contend with Miami's dominant second-quarter (+95 point differential) and third-quarter (+57) performances.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC, with a live stream available on Fubo. The Hurricanes are 14.5-point favorites, and the consensus pick from SportsLine's model projects the total to stay under 52.5 points.
