Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy announced he will undergo hip surgery on Monday. The procedure comes as the team prepares for the upcoming offseason. Murphy, who took over as manager during the 2024 season, has been dealing with hip discomfort that requires surgical intervention. The Brewers have not released a specific timeline for his return to full duties, though the surgery is expected to be routine. Assistant coaches are expected to handle managerial responsibilities during his recovery period.
