Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy said he contacted New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman to explain a profane comment made following the World Series. The conversation took place after the conclusion of the 2026 Fall Classic, according to a report published on November 3, 2026.
Murphy initiated the call to provide context for his remark, though the specific nature of the comment was not detailed in the initial report. The interaction between the two executives highlights the ongoing communication between MLB clubs even after the season's final games.
