Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini believes AS Roma will gain more valuable lessons from their defeat to Manchester United than from a potential loss to Real Madrid, according to a report from Football Italia on November 3, 2026.
Gasperini's comments suggest the Italian side's encounter with the English Premier League club provides a more instructive experience for Roma's development, though specific details of the match or competition were not disclosed in the report.
