The 2026 Alabama High School Athletic Association flag football playoffs began Wednesday with Round One matchups held statewide. The opening round featured teams from across the state competing in the single-elimination tournament.
Scores from the first-round games were compiled and published by the Montgomery Advertiser. The playoffs mark the continuation of Alabama's growing girls flag football program, which has expanded significantly since its sanctioning by the AHSAA.
Further rounds are scheduled throughout November as teams advance toward the state championship. Complete brackets and updated results are available through the AHSAA's official channels.
