The latest College Football Playoff Top 25 rankings have drawn fierce criticism from fans and analysts, with many accusing the selection committee of favoring Southeastern Conference teams. Reactions on social media included declarations that the sport is dead and claims of confirmed SEC bias conspiracies.
The controversy comes ahead of the Cotton Bowl matchup between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Miami Hurricanes, scheduled for December 31, 2025, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
