The Carolina Panthers are reviewing their cornerback depth following the firing of defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero. The move comes after the team's 25-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on October 18, 2026, where cornerback Will Lee III was tasked with covering Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith. The Panthers' defensive backfield will be a focal point as the organization transitions to a new defensive leadership structure.
