Manchester United youth talent JJ Gabriel has reportedly reached an agreement to join Real Madrid, according to a report from NBC Sports. The deal, if confirmed, would see the highly-rated prospect leave Old Trafford for the Spanish capital.
Nicholas Mendola reported on Wednesday that the agreement between the clubs and player is in place, though further details regarding transfer fees, contract length, or potential loan arrangements were not immediately disclosed. Gabriel, who has progressed through United's academy system, is considered one of the club's promising young players.
The move would represent a significant coup for Real Madrid's youth recruitment strategy, continuing their pattern of securing top European talents at an early stage. For Manchester United, losing a homegrown prospect to a direct European rival would be a notable blow to their academy development pathway.
