Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy described the team's championship parade as an overwhelming experience, telling reporters the celebration "blew me away" during a press conference on Wednesday.
The parade, held in downtown Milwaukee, drew massive crowds celebrating the franchise's first World Series title since 1982. Murphy, who took over as manager during the 2024 season, guided the Brewers through a dominant postseason run culminating in the championship victory.
"Seeing the city come together like this, the energy, the passion — it's something I'll never forget," Murphy said. "Our players earned this moment, and our fans have waited a long time for it."
The celebration featured the Commissioner's Trophy, player appearances, and speeches from team leadership. Estimates placed attendance in the hundreds of thousands, making it one of the largest sports celebrations in Wisconsin history.
