The Detroit Lions are reportedly set to sign a speedy linebacker to their practice squad, according to a report from SB Nation's Jeremy Reisman on Wednesday.
The move would add depth to Detroit's linebacker corps as the team continues to shape its roster during the 2026 season. Specific details about the player's identity were not immediately disclosed in the report.
The Lions have been active in managing their practice squad throughout the year, seeking to bolster their defensive options. This signing follows a pattern of the organization targeting athletic, versatile linebackers to develop within their system.
