Sports radio host Chris Russo sharply criticized Fox Sports for its promotion of Tom Brady's return to Foxborough, Massachusetts, calling it the "dumbest thing in the world." The commentary came during a broadcast on November 4, 2026, as reported by Awful Announcing. Brady, who spent 20 seasons with the New England Patriots, was set to appear at Gillette Stadium for a game broadcast by Fox. Russo argued that the network's heavy emphasis on Brady's return was excessive and unnecessary.
