The Kansas City Chiefs could receive a significant boost in their upcoming matchup against the New York Jets, as the Jets are expected to be without a key player valued at $130 million. The absence of star wide receiver Garrett Wilson, who has been a focal point of the Jets' offense, may tilt the scales in Kansas City's favor.
Wilson, wearing number 5, was seen in action during the Jets' game against the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium on December 8, 2024. His potential unavailability for the contest against the Chiefs would remove a primary target from the Jets' passing attack.
The Chiefs, perennial contenders in the AFC, will look to capitalize on the Jets' weakened roster as they continue their push for playoff positioning. The matchup presents an opportunity for Kansas City to exploit a New York secondary missing its top playmaker.
