The Oklahoma City Thunder are relying on star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and head coach Mark Daigneault to turn around their season after a challenging stretch. In a March 12, 2026 matchup against the Boston Celtics at Paycom Center, Daigneault was seen consulting with Gilgeous-Alexander during the fourth quarter, underscoring their partnership as the team seeks to salvage its campaign.
Thunder Wire reporter Clemente Almanza noted that the duo's leadership will be critical as Oklahoma City navigates the remainder of the schedule. The Thunder's ability to bounce back hinges on Gilgeous-Alexander's offensive production and Daigneault's tactical adjustments.
