NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal invoked the memory of Kobe Bryant following a historic night by San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama. O'Neal, a four-time champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, drew a comparison to his former teammate Bryant while reacting to Wembanyama's standout performance.
Details of Wembanyama's specific statistical achievement were not immediately disclosed, but the French phenom has consistently delivered record-setting outings during his debut season. O'Neal's reference to Bryant underscores the high regard in which the young center is already held by some of the game's greatest players.
