Two injured All-NBA teammates have urged Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to emulate Kobe Bryant's historic 2005-06 season, according to a report from OKC Thunder Wire.
The call came during the Thunder's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on November 2, 2026, at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, where Gilgeous-Alexander was photographed driving past Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen.
The identities of the two injured teammates were not disclosed in the report. The 2005-06 season saw Bryant average 35.4 points per game for the Los Angeles Lakers, one of the highest scoring averages in NBA history.
