Syracuse Orange are exploring a two-point guard alignment that offers both promise and predicament early in the 2026-27 season.
In a November 2 exhibition against the New Haven Chargers at the JMA Wireless Dome, head coach Gerry McNamara was seen conferring with guard Garwey Dual, highlighting the backcourt partnership.
The approach aims to increase ball-handling and perimeter shooting but raises questions about defensive matchups and rotation balance.
The Orange will continue to evaluate the configuration as they prepare for conference play.
