The Arizona Wildcats debuted at No. 22 in the first College Football Playoff rankings released on Tuesday. The placement follows the team's victory over the Texas Tech Red Raiders on October 31, 2026, at Galaxy Stadium in Lubbock, Texas.
Quarterback Noah Fifita led the Wildcats in that matchup, helping Arizona secure the win that bolstered its resume for the playoff committee's initial evaluation.
