Fox Sports commentator Skip Bayless drew widespread criticism after reportedly stating he "wanted to execute" Dallas Cowboys players during the team's recent collapse, according to a report from Awful Announcing published Thursday.
The controversial remarks, which surfaced on social media, appear to reference the Cowboys' disappointing performance. Bayless, a longtime Cowboys supporter known for his provocative takes, has not publicly addressed the specific wording attributed to him.
The incident has reignited debate about the boundaries of sports commentary and the responsibility of media personalities when discussing professional athletes. Neither Fox Sports nor the Dallas Cowboys organization has issued an official statement on the matter as of Thursday evening.
