The Baltimore Ravens have officially placed quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley on injured reserve, the team announced Thursday. Jackson is dealing with a thumb injury, while Huntley is sidelined with turf toe.
The move ends the season for both signal-callers and leaves Baltimore without its top two quarterbacks for the remainder of the campaign. Jackson, the 2019 NFL MVP, has been the franchise centerpiece since being drafted in 2018. Huntley served as the primary backup and started several games in Jackson's absence over recent seasons.
The Ravens will now turn to their third-string quarterback options as they navigate the final stretch of the regular season and any potential playoff run.
