Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has established a new historic team record, according to reports published Wednesday. The veteran center, who has spent his entire NHL career with the Oilers since being selected first overall in the 2011 draft, reached a milestone that places him alone in the franchise record books.
Details regarding the specific record achieved were not immediately available in the initial report. Nugent-Hopkins, a key contributor to Edmonton's offense for over a decade, has accumulated numerous franchise records during his tenure with the organization.
