Japanese super flyweight champion Mizuki Hiruta has signed a promotional agreement with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the boxing promotion company co-founded by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian. The deal was reported by SB Nation's Patrick Stumberg on Friday.
Hiruta, who holds a world title in the 115-pound division, joins MVP's growing roster of fighters. The promotional company has been expanding its stable beyond its initial YouTube-influencer boxing events into professional championship boxing.
Financial terms and the length of the agreement were not disclosed. Hiruta's next fight date and opponent under the new promotional banner have not been announced.
