The Buffalo Bills are reportedly exploring a move for a Pro Bowl cornerback as the team grapples with significant struggles in its secondary, according to a report from HEAVY.
General manager Brandon Beane addressed the media following a training camp practice at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York, on July 29, 2026. While Beane did not confirm specific targets, the Bills' defensive backfield has shown vulnerability during camp sessions, prompting speculation about potential roster upgrades before the regular season.
The Bills' secondary has been a concern throughout the offseason and early camp, with injuries and inconsistent play leaving the unit thin on experience. Adding a proven Pro Bowl-caliber cornerback would provide immediate stability and veteran presence.
No specific player names or trade details have been disclosed. The Bills' front office continues to evaluate both internal options and external possibilities as they prepare for the 2026 NFL season.
