Former India captain has criticized Chennai Super Kings' recent trade, describing it as "confusing" and labeling the acquired bowler as "ordinary." The ex-captain, speaking to Willow Sports, suggested that Sunrisers Hyderabad are the real winners of the deal.
The comments were made by the former captain in an interview with Pranav Shukla of Willow Sports on November 6, 2026. While the specific details of the trade and the identity of the bowler were not disclosed in the initial report, the criticism highlights the ongoing debate over team strategies ahead of the next IPL season.
