Leeds United have confirmed that youngster Coban Bird has joined Northern Premier League side Hebburn Town on a loan deal. The move was announced on Thursday, October 29, 2026, as the club looks to provide the player with regular first-team experience.
Bird, who has been developing through the Leeds academy system, will spend time at the Northern League club to gain valuable senior minutes. Hebburn Town, based in South Tyneside, compete in the Northern Premier League East Division.
The loan arrangement is designed to aid Bird's development by exposing him to competitive senior football outside the academy environment. Leeds United have a history of utilizing loan moves to lower-league and non-league clubs to accelerate the progress of their young prospects.
