Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos has opened up about his difficult spell at Paris Saint-Germain and disclosed that a phone call from Ruben Amorim played a decisive role in his decision to join AC Milan.
Speaking ahead of Milan's Serie A clash with Atalanta, Ramos described his frustration at limited playing time in Paris and explained how he channeled that anger into motivation for a fresh start in Italy.
"I turned that anger into fuel," Ramos said, reflecting on his PSG experience. The forward revealed that Amorim, who previously coached him at Sporting CP, reached out to outline his vision for the player at Milan, a conversation that ultimately convinced Ramos to make the move.
The 24-year-old joined the Rossoneri in the summer transfer window and is now targeting regular minutes as the club pursues domestic and European success.
