A Barstool Sports employee has described the workplace atmosphere around Pat McAfee as tense, saying staff felt they were "walking around on eggshells" due to the former NFL punter turned media personality being "always paranoid." The comments come from Qwame Skinner, who spoke about the environment at the sports media company.
McAfee, who joined Barstool after a successful NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts, has built a significant media presence through his show and platform. The description of a high-pressure, cautious workplace culture adds to ongoing discussions about the dynamics within prominent sports media operations.
