Jay-Z will perform at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium, the NFL and Roc Nation announced. Jay-Z and his company Roc Nation have produced the halftime show since 2019, and this year he selected himself as the headliner. The teams competing in the game will not be known until the final day of January.
Speculation now centers on which artists Jay-Z might bring out as special guests. Based on past collaborations and NFL experience, four names stand out.
Beyoncé
Beyoncé, married to Jay-Z since 2008, has a long history of joint performances including "Crazy in Love," "Drunk in Love," and "Part II (On the Run)." They have toured together and she has headlined the 2013 halftime show, performed with Coldplay and Bruno Mars in 2016, and sang the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2001. Most recently, she performed at the 2024 Christmas Day halftime show in Houston.
Rihanna
Jay-Z signed Rihanna to Def Jam Records in 2005 and later brought her to Roc Nation. Their collaborations include "Umbrella," "Run This Town," and "FourFiveSeconds." Rihanna headlined the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, where she announced her pregnancy, and made a surprise appearance at Jay-Z's tour at Yankee Stadium earlier this year.
Blue Ivy Carter
The couple's eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, performed as a dancer during Beyoncé's 2024 Christmas Day halftime show in Houston and joined the Cowboy Carter tour. She has a growing fanbase and is frequently seen attending NFL games with her father, making a family appearance a possibility.
Eminem
Eminem joined Jay-Z on stage during his current tour and collaborated on "Renegade" from Jay-Z's album The Blueprint. Eminem performed as a special guest during the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show, which featured a celebrated hip-hop lineup.
