NHL rumors indicate that two Western Conference teams have expressed interest in Washington Capitals prospect Ivan Miroshnichenko, according to a report from ClutchPoints published on Yahoo Sports.
The 20-year-old Russian forward, selected 20th overall by Washington in the 2022 NHL Draft, has yet to make his NHL debut. Miroshnichenko spent the 2023-24 season with the Capitals' AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears, recording 14 goals and 21 assists in 61 regular-season games.
Neither the interested teams nor the Capitals have publicly commented on the speculation. Washington's management has previously indicated they view Miroshnichenko as a long-term piece of their organizational depth.
