Former NBA player and current analyst Kendrick Perkins has voiced his support for the Philadelphia 76ers ahead of the 2026-27 season, according to a report by Richard Pereira for ClutchPoints. Perkins, who won an NBA championship with the Boston Celtics in 2008, has not wavered in his belief in the 76ers' prospects despite the team's recent playoff disappointments.
The commentary was published on October 29, 2026, as the NBA season approaches. Perkins' stance contrasts with some analysts who have questioned Philadelphia's ability to contend in a competitive Eastern Conference.
