Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Taylor Walls reportedly shut down veteran reporter Ken Rosenthal after deeming a question "disrespectful" following the team's American League Division Series game against the New York Yankees on October 7, 2026.
The incident occurred at Yankee Stadium after Game 3 of the ALDS, where Walls had recorded a double play in the fourth inning. Details of the specific question were not disclosed, but the exchange drew attention for its tense nature.
Walls, known for his defensive prowess, has been a key figure for the Rays during their postseason run. Rosenthal, a longtime MLB insider, has not publicly commented on the interaction.
