Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that one of their star players has undergone successful surgery and faces a recovery period of six to ten months, according to a report from PSG Talk on Wednesday.
The club did not disclose the identity of the player or the specific nature of the procedure in the initial announcement. The extended timeline suggests a significant injury that will sideline the unnamed footballer for the majority of the current season.
PSG Talk reported the news on October 28, 2026, noting that the surgery was described as successful and the player has begun the rehabilitation process. Further updates on the player's progress are expected from the club's medical staff in the coming weeks.
