Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) Chief Executive Officer Tom Hirsig will step down following the 2027 rodeo season, according to an announcement reported by the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle. Hirsig has led the organization that produces one of the world's largest outdoor rodeos and western celebrations.
The leadership transition was confirmed Friday by CFD officials. Hirsig's tenure has overseen the annual event known as the "Daddy of 'em All," which draws competitors and spectators from around the globe to Cheyenne, Wyoming each July.
No successor has been named. The CFD board is expected to begin a search process ahead of the 2028 season.
