Oklahoma City Thunder guard Nikola Topic appeared in a game against the Phoenix Suns on April 12, 2026, at Paycom Center, wearing jersey number 44. The Thunder are considering whether Topic and fellow prospect Thomas Sorber could gain experience in the NBA G League before contributing to the main roster.
Topic, a 2024 draft pick, has shown flashes of potential during limited appearances. Sorber, a recent addition to the organization, is also being evaluated for a potential G League stint to accelerate his development.
The Thunder's player development staff will assess both players' readiness over the coming weeks, with a decision expected before the start of the G League season.
