Atlanta Falcons rookie Anterio Thompson has disclosed that he was diagnosed with a career-ending genetic mutation in his spinal cord, stating that doctors told him he would never play football again.
Thompson was placed on the team's non-football injury list in July. The revelation came in a report published on October 30, 2026.
