Arizona Diamondbacks ace Corbin Burnes will remain with the team following a season marred by injuries, according to a report from ClutchPoints on Thursday.
The right-hander, who joined the Diamondbacks ahead of the 2026 campaign, struggled to stay on the mound due to multiple injury setbacks. Despite the disappointing year, the club has decided to retain the former Cy Young Award winner for the upcoming season.
Burnes, 31, posted a 4.12 ERA over 18 starts before being shut down in September. The Diamondbacks front office expressed confidence in his ability to return to form when healthy.
