Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey is expected to play in the team's upcoming matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, while safety Derwin James has been ruled out for the game. The injury report update comes ahead of the Week 8 contest between the two Los Angeles franchises.
McConkey, a rookie contributor for the Chargers, has cleared any injury concerns and will be available for the offense. James, a three-time Pro Bowl safety and defensive leader, will miss the divisional rivalry game due to injury. The Chargers will need to adjust their secondary coverage without their star playmaker against the Rams' passing attack.
