Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi delivered a parting message to defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons after the team traded him to the Chicago Bears. Borgonzi, who was introduced as the Titans' new general manager at a press conference on January 22, 2025, at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park in Nashville, addressed Simmons' departure as part of the franchise's roster moves.
The trade sends Simmons, a key defensive piece for Tennessee, to Chicago in what marks a significant shift for the Titans' defensive line. Borgonzi's comments come as he begins his tenure overseeing the team's personnel decisions.
