Great Britain's Kadeena Cox set a new world record to win the C4 1km gold medal at the Para-cycling Track World Championships in the Netherlands on 30 October 2026. The 35-year-old completed the distance in 1 minute 9.545 seconds, securing her seventh world title.
Cox faced a tense wait as Australia's Tara Neyland attempted to beat her time, but Neyland fell short. The five-time Paralympic gold medallist celebrated her first world title since 2024, draped in the British flag by her team.
