NASCAR driver and team co-owner Brad Keselowski has been granted his release from RFK Racing to explore other driving opportunities, according to an Associated Press report. As part of the agreement, Keselowski will also sell his ownership stake in the team he helped establish.
The move marks a significant shift for the 2012 NASCAR Cup Series champion, who has been with RFK Racing since its formation as a driver and co-owner alongside Jack Roush and John Henry. Keselowski's departure opens the door for him to pursue a new driving role for the 2027 season and beyond.
Details regarding potential destinations for Keselowski or the valuation of his ownership share were not immediately disclosed. RFK Racing has not announced a replacement driver for the No. 6 Ford Mustang.
