The Carolina Panthers have fired defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero following the team's loss to the Green Bay Packers. The move has sparked criticism from NFL fans, who question head coach Dave Canales' decision and suggest Evero was made a scapegoat for the team's defensive struggles.
Evero had served as defensive coordinator since 2023. The Panthers' defense has faced challenges this season, and the loss to the Packers apparently prompted the change. Quarterback Bryce Young remains the team's starter as the Panthers look to regroup.
