Kansas City Chiefs left guard Kingsley Suamataia was benched for the second time this season during the team's game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
The decision to sideline Suamataia came as the Chiefs faced the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High. The second-year lineman has struggled with consistency, prompting coaching staff to make a change along the offensive line.
Suamataia, a 2024 draft pick, started the first six games of the season before being replaced in Week 7. He returned to the starting lineup last week but was again removed from the starting unit for the Denver matchup.
