The Pittsburgh Steelers have elevated a wide receiver from their practice squad, a move that could indicate roster uncertainty for fellow receiver Skowronek.
The transaction was announced on October 31, 2026. The elevated player's name was not disclosed in the initial report. The move comes as the Steelers prepare for upcoming games.
Wide receiver Brandon Johnson, who scored a touchdown in a preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 16, 2025, remains on the active roster.
