The NFL has fined three players following the Denver Broncos' Week 7 game, according to league announcements. Broncos safety Brandon Jones was among those penalized for on-field infractions during the contest.
The fines stem from the Broncos' Week 7 matchup, though the league did not immediately disclose the specific amounts or the identities of the other two players sanctioned. Jones, a key member of Denver's secondary, was cited for his role in the incidents reviewed by the NFL's football operations department.
Player fines are routine each week as the league enforces rules on unnecessary roughness, taunting, and other conduct violations. The Broncos organization has not publicly commented on the penalties.
