MSNBC host Joe Scarborough has criticized ESPN's "College GameDay" and analyst Pat McAfee, saying he has "had enough" of the former punter's presence on the popular college football pregame show.
The comments were reported by Charles Curtis for For The Win on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Scarborough, a former Republican congressman and current "Morning Joe" co-host, did not specify the exact nature of his frustration with McAfee, who joined the "College GameDay" crew in 2024 after a successful career in professional wrestling and podcasting.
McAfee, a former NFL punter for the Indianapolis Colts, has become a prominent media personality with "The Pat McAfee Show" and his role on ESPN's college football coverage. His addition to "College GameDay" was seen as a move to attract younger viewers.
Neither ESPN nor McAfee have publicly responded to Scarborough's remarks as of publication.
