Duke and NC State are preparing for their annual rivalry showdown with significant Atlantic Coast Conference stakes on the line. The matchup, scheduled for September 26, 2026, in Raleigh, North Carolina, carries added weight as both programs jockey for position in the conference standings.
The Wolfpack enter the contest following a home game against Appalachian State at Carter-Finley Stadium on September 26, where NC State took the field ahead of the first half. That non-conference tune-up serves as final preparation before the Blue Devils arrive for one of the ACC's most heated in-state rivalries.
Both teams will be looking to gain momentum in conference play, with the outcome potentially shaping the ACC championship picture as the season progresses. The rivalry, steeped in history and geographic proximity, consistently draws intense interest regardless of each team's record.
