Tennis legend Rafael Nadal is reportedly set to join the board of directors at Real Madrid, according to BBC Sport journalist Mike Peter. The 22-time Grand Slam champion has been a frequent presence at Real Madrid matches in recent years, often seen on the pitch at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The Spanish football club has not yet officially confirmed the appointment. Nadal, a lifelong Real Madrid supporter, has maintained close ties with the club throughout his tennis career. His potential move into football administration would mark a significant crossover between two of Spain's most prominent sporting institutions.
Nadal retired from professional tennis in November 2024 after a career that included 14 French Open titles and an Olympic gold medal. Since retirement, he has focused on his academy in Mallorca and various business ventures.
